Married with Children
I don’t know what’s more exhausting about parenting: the getting up early, or acting like you know what you’re doing.

Easy Enough...?
For married couples with children, estate planning seems pretty straightforward. You want your spouse to make decisions for you if you become incapacitated, and you want to pass your assets to your spouse when you die and then to your children after your spouse is gone.
That all seems pretty easy, right?
What is “easy” to some sounds like a nightmare for others. Some couples may not mind going through probate; others want to avoid the expense and the time of having to go to court and the subsequent procedures that the courts require to pass on property to loved ones.
There may be other considerations for your family.
What if both parents die while the children are still minors?
Who will manage the money on their behalf?
How comfortable am I with my children having no guidelines in place for how they spend their inheritance?
Who is going to care for the family pet(s)?
Responsibilities
The responsibilities we bear as parents are substantial, demanding much of our time. With this in mind, I strive to make putting a plan in place for you as easy as possible.
In addition, if you are part of a blended family with children from a prior marriage, the likelihood of conflict between family members is almost guaranteed if there is no plan in place.
